Bldr Lawal Magaji – Ag. MD APDC – August 2019
A highly skilled professional builder, Lawal has over 19 years’ experience in Building, project management, construction, facilities management and providing consultancy services, as well as real estate development. Until his appointment as Ag. MD APDC in August 2019, he was the Head Real Estate and construction Department, where he successfully steered the affairs of the core unit of the Company.
He pools his knowledge and experience from a degree he obtained in Building from the Ahmadu Bello University in 2000 and is a corporate member and fellow of several professional bodies including Nigerian Institute of Building, International Facilities Management Association (including the Nigerian Chapter, for which he is an active member Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON). This is in addition to the several professional development training programs he has attended in areas of project management, facilities management, Health and safety both in and outside the country.
Armed with these, he has successfully supervised, managed and handled various projects including supervision of the construction of APDC head office, Investment House, AUMTCO head office, AEA head office, AGIS and FCT Archives, amongst several other building projects commercial, institutional and private buildings in and outside Abuja. He also served in various committees and project teams where his valuable input have positively impacted on the outcome of the projects. He carries out his responsibilities with professionalism, dedication and hard work, which is evident in the projects he has handled so far.
Mairo Tense – Head, Business Development
Mairo Tense is a seasoned Administrator who has garnered demonstrable experience in diverse sectors, including Banking, Investment and Securities and Property Development. She holds a degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. After her National Youth Service in 1991, she was retained where she served at the Leasing Company of Nigeria (LECON) Limited, a subsidiary of the Nigeria Industrial Development Bank (NIDB) where she worked till 1996. Between 1996 and 2003 Mairo rose from the rank of Assistant Manager to Manager and Head, Operations of Visa Investments and Securities Ltd, a subsidiary of the African International Bank Ltd. While so engaged, she served as the Chairperson, Appointment Promotion and Disciplinary Committee.
In 2004, she worked briefly as the General Manager of Integrated Consumer Services Ltd and thereafter moved on to the National Assembly where she was a Special Assistant to Hon. Farouk Adamu Aliyu and Head, Administrative and Human Resources of Sanrouk Engineering Services Ltd, an Electrical Engineering firm owned by the Honourable member.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA).
She presently holds the reins of the Business Development Department of Abuja Property Development Company Limited.
Akeem Kolawole Aderogba – Head, Finance and Accounts
A highly analytical finance expert, Aderogba holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) Upper Credit in Accountancy, an MBA in Marketing Management and has over 20 years cognate experience in the Accounting .
From 1992 -2002, Aderogba worked as an Accountant and later as Senior Accountant in Cakasa Nigeria Company Limited, an Oil Servicing Engineering Company in Lagos. He was later engaged by Stallion Property and Development Company Limited, a Property Development and Facility Management Company, where he served as Financial Accountant, and Deputy Manager, Finance and Accounts, between 2002 and 2007.
An astute professional, Aderogba holds membership of several professional bodies, including: Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (CIS) amongst others.
